Art & Culture
Jetty Park features 4 historical kiosks covering Fort Pierce’s rich history tied with World War 2, the Navy SEALS and the Vietnam War era. Wander around the shaded sidewalks and take it all in!
You’ll also notice several mosaic benches which were all created by local artists in the community to reflect Fort Pierce’s fishing & charm.
Beach
Ready to relax? Hit the sand and enjoy the sounds of the gentle waves crashing on the beach. Catch the pelican diving for fish in the waters or look for seashells along the water line. On a windy day, you can even watch kitesurfers, fly across the waters.
Dining
There are several places within walking distance of Jetty Park for a cocktail or a great meal. If you are looking for a nice dinner on the beach, check out Sunrise Sands Beach Resort Restaurant the new with delicious & unique seafood entrees, & a laid back atmosphere. If you are looking for a quick lunch, we recommend stopping in to local chain, Taco Dive just next door and enjoy some fried shrimp & fish dip.
Thirsty? Square Grouper Tiki Bar & the Jetty Lounge are visitors’ and locals’ alike favorite watering holes in the area.
Fishing
The Fort Pierce Jetty is a local hotspot for fishing, especially in the early mornings. Fisherman are known to catch anything from snook to jack crevalle, to sheepshead, snapper, ladyfish and more.
When you’re ready to bring your catches in, use one of the cleaning stations right in the park!
Views
Any early birds out there? The Fort Pierce Jetty is one of the BEST places to catch the sunrise. You may even be joined by local photographers and avid fishermen.
